Basler releases fixed dome IP cameras
• BIP-D1000c-dn with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels
• BIP-D1300c-dn with a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels
Basler IP fixed dome cameras have vandal-resistant aluminum housings, allowing video surveillance applications outdoors and under tough indoor conditions. With their built-in heater and fan, Basler IP cameras work at extreme operating temperatures from -20° C to +50° C (-4° F to +122° F).
To store surveillance data even when the network connection has been broken, Basler IP fixed dome cameras are equipped with a built-in SD card slot for local file storage.
All Basler IP fixed dome cameras offer the same functionalities as their "boxed" counterparts. This includes true day/night functionality for night and low light applications while providing outstanding image quality from the best Sony CCD sensors.
The new camera models also feature multiple streaming using several MJPEG streams, or multiple MJPEG streams with an MPEG-4 or an H.264 stream at the same time.
Basler IP fixed dome cameras can be easily mounted to a wall or ceiling, and an internal three axis camera bracket allows complete flexibility when aiming the camera.
"These new models represent a significant expansion of our product portfolio and meet our customers' needs for professional video surveillance equipment that can operate under extreme conditions," states Gerrit Schreiber, Product Manager, Basler Vision Technologies. "All of the components used in our IP cameras are specifically selected to form a high-quality, 'made in Germany' product."
