TagDetector wireless intruder alarm system eliminates the need for costly wiring and installation work

05 February 2010
Tag Guard have launched TagDetector, a fully monitored, portable, wireless intruder alarm system, as part of the TagAlarm range of advanced security products. TagDetector operates as a highly effective stand-alone unit covering a 180º area and up to 12 metres distance. Ideal for temporary or permanent applications, it completely eliminates the need for costly wiring and installation work.

Smaller businesses that have previously been deterred from installing prohibitively expensive intruder systems can now get the benefit of highly effective, fully monitored security for a low cost monthly fee – as little at £20 per week.

TagDetector features GPRS technology and SMS alarm messaging for multiple recipients. With multiple detection patterns unwanted alarms are said to be virtually eliminated. With the technology encased in a rugged housing designed to withstand exposed environments the unit can be used indoors or outdoors.

TagDetector can be set up and ready to operate in minutes – all the user needs to do is fix to a wall or other structure, choose the detection pattern and arm the unit.

TagDetector is ideal for a variety of applications including isolated, temporarily vacated or individual buildings, offices, store rooms, containers, workshops, retail outlets and residences. As the unit is fully portable it can also easily be moved to new positions or new locations as required.

Included in the budget level price is full monitoring by Tag Guard’s 24/7 response centre.
